Abrasive Blasting
SPI provides on-site/field abrasive blasting or the use of our shop facility, located in Beaumont, Texas. We are equipped to perform blasting and painting on large scale projects to aid in maintaining specifications and job schedules. We are permitted by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ).
Exterior Tank Painting
Experienced field personnel to follow specified preparation standards (SSPC/NACE/ISO) and manufacturer’s recommended application procedures (airless spray, conventional spray,brush/roll).
Interior Tank Linings
Experienced in the application of thin film, medium film, and FRP systems. SPI utilizes manual and/or automated surface preparation equipment for optimum surface profile and dehumidification to ensure a controlled environment. Materials are applied according to manufacturer recommended procedures and guidelines with full inspection and repair of finished installation, if needed.
Pipeline Coatings (above ground)
On site/field painting of pipeline meter site and station piping. SPI takes great care in protecting all tags, window sites, or any surface not to be abraded or painted. Strict containment procedures are used if specified.
Lead Abatement
Abatement procedures to include encapsulation or complete removal with full enclosure, if required.
Small Plant Maintenance Programs
SPI offers maintenance programs for smaller facilities that are geared to your specific needs. We perform required surface preparation, painting, lead abatement, asbestos abatement, and insulation. On site SPI personnel will interact with owner representative to schedule projects and to oversee that the work is completed and documented.
